Mrs. Jennifer Allen
The Cancer Foundation lovingly remembers the life of Jennifer Allen. Mrs. Jennifer Allen passed away on March 16, 2025. She was born in Bogart, GA on January 8, 1957. Through her gifts of time, talent and treasure Jenn provided hope to countless others on their own cancer journey.
While Jenn was deeply dedicated to her career, her greatest passion was her family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Robert Allen, Jr., her three children and seven grandchildren. Read Mrs. Allen’s full obituary below.
Ms. Jean Fleming Maupin passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born in Athens, GA on July 27, 1948. Jean was a dedicated member of the Methodist Church throughout her life and, in 2018, became a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church. She built a successful career in real estate before returning to Athens where she selflessly cared for her mother and other to close friends.
Beyond her professional and caregiving roles, Jean had a deep passion for gardening, especially cultivating and nurturing a variety of daylilies. Read Ms. Maupin’s full obituary below.

Janine was born March 27, 1956 in Kewanee, Ill. Later moving to Atlanta, she attended the Arlington Schools. After graduation she attended Georgia State University and the University of West Georgia. She devoted the second half of her career to education and counseling working for Coweta County Schools and the Department of Defense Education Activity. She will be remembered for her love of Arlington, the Harrison family, genealogy, books, movies, trips to the beach….
