Joey Tripp
Executive Director
Joey joined The Cancer Foundation in April of 2023. He has a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from the University of Georgia and brings with him over 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining The Cancer Foundation, Joey served as the Director of Development for The Warrior Alliance in Atlanta.
Born in Macon, Georgia, Joey has lived in Georgia his entire life. When he is not working, you will find him reading, watching good movies, gardening, or camping. He has a long history of volunteering. Currently, he is actively involved in Rotary. Previously, he has volunteered his time at Camp Sunshine, Camp Twin Lakes and the American Cancer Society. Some of his favorite things include Japanese Food/Sushi, driving Jeep Wranglers, the beach, and his Dalmatian named Aiden.

Tina Laseter
Director of Development
Tina Laseter joined The Cancer Foundation in September 2022 as the Director of Development. Tina will coordinate several key programs including marketing, fund development, and program support. Tina is excited to help TCF reach more patients in need by exceeding our fundraising goals. She looks forward to getting to know our generous donors and community partners.
Tina grew up in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. She moved to the Athens area in 1988 and later graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining TCF, Tina served the Athens community through her work with the Department of Juvenile Justice, Prevent Child Abuse Athens, the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, and the Athens Banner-Herald.
Tina and her husband, Todd, reside in Athens. They have two boys: the oldest attends Athens Technical College while the youngest attends Athens Christian School. An avid sports fan, Tina cheers on the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. She also enjoys spending time at Lake Hartwell with family and friends, listening to true crime podcasts, and any type of DIY project.

Katrina Hardegree, MSW
Program Manager
Financial Assistance Program
Katrina Hardegree started full-time at The Cancer Foundation in February 2019 as the Financial Assistance Program Manager. Katrina primarily manages the Financial Assistance Program and ensures all assistance is given in a timely manner. Katrina’s favorite part of her job is being able to tell patients that their applications have been approved and assistance is on the way.
Katrina was raised in Rome, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oglethorpe University in 2016 and her Master of Social Work from UGA in 2018. While not at work, Katrina enjoys reading, exercising, kayaking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Brittany Davidson
Program Manager
Nutritional Assistance Program
Brittany Davidson joined The Cancer Foundation in July 2022 as the Operations Manager. She was promoted to Program Manager of Nutritional Assistance in January 2024. Brittany has the primary responsibility for coordination and management of the Foundation’s recently created Nutritional Assistance Program. Brittany’s favorite part of her job is working with her colleagues and volunteers to provide assistance cancer patients who deal with food insecurity.
Brittany was raised in the CSRA, primarily in North Augusta, SC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2013. Brittany enjoys taking care of those around her and making others smile. Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, James, and their two dogs, Indigo and Rya. You can often find them cooking together, reading, or enjoying trivia/karaoke/D&D nights with friends.
Cameron Jay Harrelson

Cameron Jay Harrelson joined The Cancer Foundation in April 2024 as our Relationship Manager. Cameron Jay’s primary job is developing and nurturing high-value relationships with donors, supporters, volunteers, and other stakeholders. As a cancer survivor (Hodgkin's Lymphoma 2023), Cameron looks forward to elevating the mission of The Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia and connecting with all of you!
He comes to The Cancer Foundation after a previous career with Cox Media Group as an Account Manager and Media Consultant, Some might know him as the host of the true crime program, Classic City Crime Podcast, which advocates for victims and their families. In our local community, Cameron has been deeply involved. As the past president and spokesperson of Athens Pride, he worked tirelessly to advance equity, affirmation, diversity, and wellness for marginalized populations in the greater Athens-area. Cameron also previously served as the Chair of Athens-Clarke County's Human Relations Commission and has headlined fundraising efforts and events for the Athens Community Council on Aging and the Athens-area Chamber of Commerce. He was named one of Athens' Top 10 Under 40 in 2023 by the Chamber. He is a 2024 graduate of The University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and was recognized by the University President for his community contributions. He is currently continuing his studies at UWG in Non-Profit Management and Community Development.
